This CSL Financial Privacy Policy describes how CSL Financial, LLC (“CSL,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you. This Privacy Policy applies when you use our Websites (such as  https://www.commonsenselending.com, the “Websites”), and the information collected on our Websites or through your online interactions with us (collectively, the “Services”).

In some circumstances, we may provide you with additional or supplemental privacy notices to the extent they apply to you because of the interactions you may have with us, the Websites, or different laws that may apply to you. Some states may provide additional privacy rights.

Information We Automatically Collect

  • Information Collected by Cookies and Similar Tracking Technologies: We (and those who perform work for us) use tracking technologies, such as cookies and web beacons, to collect information about your interactions with the Websites.  

 

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies simplify the process of delivering relevant content and eases site navigation by providing and saving your preferences and login information as well as providing personalized functionality. We link cookies to personal information on the site in order to make it easier for users to return to the site and to access the site’s features. 

 

Web beacons are electronic images on websites and emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness.  We may include web beacons in promotional e-mail messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. We do not share your information for targeted advertising and do not sell personal information to third parties in exchange for valuable consideration.

Linked Sites

The Websites contains links to other sites (“Linked Sites”).  We are not responsible for the privacy practices, terms of use or content of Linked Sites.  The Linked Sites may collect personal information from you that is not subject to our control.  The data collection practices of Linked Sites will be governed by privacy policies of those Linked Sites.

Accessing And Changing Your Personal Information

You may have the ability to view or edit your personal information by contacting us at and we will contact you to enable you to access your information and the opportunity to change your information. To protect your privacy and security, we may require steps to verify your identity, such as a password and user ID, before granting access to your data.

Collection and Use of Children’s Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have personal information on a child under the age of 13, we will delete that information from our systems. 

Security

We take information security very seriously and uses reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access. We use a variety of security technologies depending on the situation and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure such as physical access controls, Secure Socket Layers (SSL), Internet firewalls, intrusion detection, and network monitoring. However, no security system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and therefore we cannot guarantee the security of your Information or assume liability for improper access to it.
